Gin – Britain’s favourite spirit – is enjoying somewhat of a renaissance and we’re proud at The Mile – Farm Shop in Pocklington to help a new generation of ginthusiasts enjoy the very best.

According to the latest statistics, the number of gin brands has more than doubled since 2010, from 37 to more than 80 last  year. Gin sales have grown more than any other spirit.

Our very own Gin in Pocklington Emporium has a fab selection of specialist gins. Plus, lovely mixers, including premium brand tonic water Fever-Tree and Bottle Green Drinks.

Included in our gin selection is Yorkshire’s own Slingsby Gin from Harrogate; Masons Yorkshire Gin, distilled in copper alembic stills using pure Yorkshire water and Portobello Road No 171. Gin,  a classically styled London Dry Gin, created in a traditional method from only nine botanicals.

We also stock Brockmans, Sloemotion, Hedgerow Gin, but our best-seller so far has to be the Edinburgh Gin, with its rhubarb flavour proving to be a firm favourite.

Our current choice of Fever Tree tonics, includes Sicilian Lemon, Elderflower, Mediterranean, Original and Naturally Light.

As well as drinking gin, you could also whip up a Gin and Tonic cake!
