The Mile Caravan Park is open all year round and is perfect for families, couples, or individuals, and well-behaved pets. Our flat, well-drained pitches are suitable for motorhomes and caravans, and we also have some hard-standing pitches.
Please note that our land can be hard during summer months, so you may need to use rock pegs.
We are happy to announce that all our shared facilities are now reopened, and are cleaned every day to maintain high levels of sanitisation.
There are 5 wet room style rooms, including 1 with disabled facilities. Each of these has a shower, toilet, and basin. Additional toilets can be found in a separate, unisex block for when the wet rooms are busy.
Shop and Cafe
The Caravan Park is located on a site that also houses a farm shop and a cafe. Our shop stocks staples such as bread, eggs, meat, and dairy products, as well as specialising in local produce including Yorkshire jams, chutneys, cakes, biscuits, cheeses, gins, beers, ciders, and much more.
The cafe, meanwhile, provides a tasty selection of breakfasts and lunches for adults and children, including English breakfasts, toasties, and sandwiches. We also provide hot and cold drinks, such as cappuchinos, lattes, fruit juices, or good honest Yorkshire tea.
For those warm summer days we offer a variety of local Brymore ice-creams and ice-cream milkshakes, and we always have a selection of home-made cakes and scones available.
If you are looking to treat yourself, we also provide Afternoon Teas, Yorkshire Picnic Platters, Breakfast Hampers, and Recipe Bundles. All of these can be ordered prior to your stay with us, or you can order them when you arrive, though we do ask for at least 1 day's notice to prepare them.
The Caravan Park is ideally situated at the foot of the stunning Yorkshire Wolds, soon to be classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, enabling access to wonderful walk-routes.
We are also located a short 15 minute walk from the picturesque market town of Pocklington, where independent bars, restaurants, and shops can be found.
Meanwhile, a short drive down the A1079 will take you to the historic walled city of York, with plenty of shops and eateries, and the world-renowned Shambles, while our location also provides good access to the Yorkshire Coastline.
A few examples of nearby attractions includes:
