Hard-standing pitches now available

We have recently invested in creating more hard-standing pitches for our campsite in Pocklington overlooking the Yorkshire Wolds.

Last Easter – when we had that heavy rain deluge – Colin had to spend quite a bit of time towing people off the grass pitches as their caravans got stuck.

And, while we all love the great outdoors, we also wanted to reduce the mud paddling our guests endured from their caravan to toilet block!  Plus, motorhomes are very heavy and not four-wheel drive so an upgrade was essential!

We now have 15 hard-standing pitches.

Jo says: “This has been quite an investment for us but we realised that not many caravan parks are open all year so the hard-standing is a huge benefit for our all-season camping.”
